Something New
I heard on a podcast about the benefits of some foods that support a body’s biological use of energy stores (AKA fat). Pomegranates were one of these, so I’m starting with some delicious yogurt and pomegranate seeds today. The other food is tomatoes. I love a basic tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on sourdough bread and have been starting my day that way for a couple of weeks.
I’ve been pondering what I can control in my world now, learning the more profound issues associated with conglomerate media companies. Yet, I still value the connections that our digital connections provide us. So today, I’m figuring out how to share daily thoughts and insights about my day that ultimately tie into creating myLife and my vision of a business.
Initially, I thought an option was to inundate my email subscribers' inboxes with daily(ish) snackable reads with content I’d have the urge to share on social media feeds. Not sure how you would feel about having that content filling your inbox? Neither am I.
So maybe re-invigorating the ‘blog’ is a way to go.
Blogs provide:
A repository of ideas and thoughts.
While writing like a journal, read and feel to allow ideas to flush out.
They are searchable and provide regularly updated content to my business website.
A space for organic reach and more engaging conversation that isn’t prioritized by an algorithm.
So, in a mission to combine the value of journalling (flushing out processes and thoughts) with connecting and creating conversations, I will give this a go.
Like my mindset when I began my podcast, Plan for Wonder, I am going to develop and create my own content and post in a place that I own and manage.
myLife planners are not for everyone, and that is a good thing. I love all the unique quirks I learn about others. Your uniqueness is what colourizes our world.
So, if you are interested in keeping in the loop, you can always add this post to an RSS feed or pop in once in a while. I won’t be doing marketing well if I don’t highlight some ideas and thoughts in my weekly myLife newsletter, so that is also a way to check-in.
